Over the last 4 weeks, the GT children have been making miniature tiny houses. They have been hot gluing couple inch sticks together to form a house. They made walls and windows to make the houses more realistic. Some children went over the top and put furniture inside the house. A couple houses were even wired their houses to make it like a real house with electricity. We had one student volunteer their house to go up on Craigslist for the price of the materials it cost to make the miniature tiny houses. Haha, miniature tiny houses, to think they could get smaller. Anyways we put up the house for $36.06, so far nobody has replied (shocker, right). The children are pretending to put their house up for sale. They have a full description of their tiny, tiny, and tinier houses. They came up with a price with the help from the library teacher who is also a part-time real estate agent. All the students houses are different. One student made their house specifically for gardeners by having a garden floor and no windows so the sun can come in. If your not amazed already, because I am, we have pictures so you can see the miniature tiny houses for yourself.
