Today, we put in the door and screwed in the loft. We also put in the plastic wrap which protects the tiny house from wind and protects against water vapor. We hammered it in with plastic caps. We learned what plastic caps were, they are nails covered with a little flat cap that makes it so the nails don't go through the plastic house wrap. Last week we put in the beams that would support the loft. This week we are putting on the board so that we can actually walk on it. Two members of our team worked on screwing on the loft. We had to get exact measurements, so that the screws are put into the right spot. Last week we put in the windows. Today we put in the door. It proved to be a little tricky so we put in shims to make sure that it fits. Next week we will be putting on metal and wood siding to protect the tiny house from the elements.
