I will draft a new letter to our investors from last year to see if they would like to reinvest. We lost one of our big investors, but hope to pick up some more. The response from having the house listed on tiny house listing.com was overwhelming, we had over 23,000 people look at our listing, over 60 inquiries, and 8 people that wanted to buy, but I had to turn away. One of the potential buyers even wants to become an investor for the next project.
An interesting thing happened when I gave each investor a check for what they invested. They all looked a little confused. I don't think they expected to get their money back, but that was part of the deal, being good stewards with the money that was entrusted to us. Some called and said,"Just reinvest it.", others asked if we were going to do it again, well, we are, and I will send a letter asking that they would help again. This is another life lesson the kids will learn...we all need help, people are willing to help, but you have to ask.
